Simplifies connectivity of BroadWorks services platform to the PSTN, enabling service providers to deploy highly scalable Business VoIP services as a single manageable service node

San Jose, CA – October 25, 2010 – Dialogic Inc. (NASDAQ: DLGC), a leading provider of communications technologies that power advanced networks, today announced that the Dialogic® IMG 1010 Integrated Media Gateway has successfully completed interoperability validation testing with the BroadWorks IP communications server platform provided by BroadSoft®. Service providers can now use the IMG 1010 Media Gateway in conjunction with BroadWorks, enabling tens of thousands of concurrent business VoIP subscriber sessions to access the PSTN.

The scalability and flexibility of the IMG 1010 Media Gateways, in conjunction with BroadSoft’s platform, enables service providers to meet a full range of their needs.  For example, the IMG 1010 has the ability to act as a load balancer in front of BroadWorks, enabling service providers to easily add service capacity while maintaining high call volumes.  In addition, the IMG 1010’s “Any-to-Any” signaling enables connections between BroadSoft SIP-based services and a broad range of PSTN and IP protocols, including SS7, SIP-I and ISUP over SIGTRAN. And when combined with BroadWorks, the IMG 1010 also provides sophisticated call handling for voice and fax calls.

“BroadSoft’s close work with Dialogic demonstrates our commitment to ensuring a superior user experience,” said David Bukovsky, vice president, products, BroadSoft.  “By engaging in interoperability validation testing for the IMG 1010, we believe BroadSoft has shown our carrier partners that we are dedicated to working with some of the highest-quality VoIP products in the market.”

The IMG 1010 is a highly scalable solution, enabling cost-effective support for customers in distributed locations.  It is currently certified in leading carrier networks including British Telecom, Deutsche Telecom, and France Telecom, with many additional certifications in process.

“We are pleased to have achieved interoperability validation between our IMG 1010 and the BroadWorks platform,” said Harold Klett, vice president of service provider products for Dialogic. “Now, with the IMG 1010 having successfully passed extensive testing with the BroadWorks platform, service providers can confidently look to these products to provide a reliable and dynamic solution for their customers.”
