ECI Selected To Build new BelWü Metro and Regional Networks in Germany

Petach Tikva, Israel, November 22, 2016 – ECI, a global provider of ELASTIC Network® solutions, in cooperation with BelWü, the service provider supplying the network for education and research institutions (NREN) as well as the backbone operator for a wide variety of regional services such as Cloud infrastructures, High Performance Computing and large scale data facilities of the southern German federal state Baden-Württemberg, announced today that ECI’s Apollo optical family was chosen to upgrade BelWü’s currently static DWDM metro and regional networks.  ECI will provide a state-of-the-art, optical network with dynamic network capabilities.
