Chief Commercial Officer, Clint Heiden, to Discuss Efficient Multimedia Distribution Strategies

The inaugural event is taking place June 17-18 at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers in Chicago, IL. Mr. Heiden, alongside fellow panelists Don Vendetti, SVP of Marketing & Product Management at Vantrix, Ted Middleton, VP of Product Design at Verizon Digital Media Services, Bill Wohnoutka, VP of the Solutions Architecture Team at Level 3 Communications,and moderator Alan Breznick, Senior Analyst at Heavy Reading, will discuss ‘CDNs, Apps, Acceleration, & Caching: Efficient Multimedia Distribution Strategies’. The session takes place Wednesday, June 18from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM and will explore the importance of effective and efficient video delivery as multiscreen video viewing propagates and viewers demand higher levels of video quality from their multiple screens.
Mr. Heiden will share his insights on the video delivery model and its necessary evolution as consumer video consumption grows faster than the bandwidth available for its transportation. In particular, he will explore the evolving role of content delivery networks (CDNs), the surging growth of applications, the development of more advanced edge caching technologies and techniques, and advancements enabling efficient, real-time transcoding.
