Ekinops(Euronext Paris – FR0011466069 – EKI), a leading supplier of optical transport and network access solutions, is pleased to announce that Netalis, a subsidiary of the NASCA group formed by the merger of multi-regional telecommunication services operators Netalis and ASC, has chosen its DWDM solutions to meet the growing bandwidth needs of its business customers, enterprises and public institutions.
The DWDM backbone network is being launched in “patches” starting with the PACA region in France, and now offers a direct link to the point of presence (commonly known as PoP) in Marseille, a city that has become the world’s 7th largest digital hub according to Telegeography*. This will enable Netalis to offer low-latency transport to the world’s leading hosting companies and cloud providers operating locally. Companies in the PACA region can now access services with wavelengths from 10 to 100 Gbps.
