Emerson Network Power Boosts IDC Regional Focus in Asia
Appoints Tony Gaunt as director for IDC in Asia
Singapore [April 4, 2013] – Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE:EMR) and a global leader in maximizing availability, capacity and efficiency of critical infrastructure, announced recently the appointment of Tony Gaunt as the new director for internet data centre (IDC) in Emerson Network Power Asia.
In his new capacity, Gaunt will be responsible for the development of the overall IDC business in Asia. He now reports to Gene Hayden, vice president and general manager for sales, Emerson Network Power Asia.

Gaunt’s extensive experience in the Data Centre power environment in the UK, Europe and Australia will prove invaluable to the expansion of Emerson Network Power throughout the region. “This is an exciting opportunity for me personally. Gaunt joined Emerson in 2011 as National Business Development Manager for Australia following Emerson’s acquisition of Chloride. Prior to this, he was with Chloride Power Protection UK since 1996 as Northern Area Sales Manager and progressed through roles of increasing responsibilities in sales and strategic account management. In 2005, he moved to Australia, assuming the role of NSW/ACT Sales Manager and later on becoming Regional Sales Manager.
Gaunt holds a Master of Management Degree from Maquarie Graduate School of Management. He is based in Sydney, Australia.
