Equilibrium announces Pal Storehaug as Vice President of EMEA
– 20-Year Technology Sales Veteran will lead enterprise content management platform’s expansion in key new markets
SAUSALITO, California, March 4, 2013 – Equilibrium, the leading content management, monetization and mobilization platform for the enterprise, today announced that it has named Pal Storehaug as its Vice President for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Storehaug comes into the position as Equilibrium looks to expand its customer base in the crucial EMEA region, where Equilibrium’s content hosting and delivery solution has reached peak demand.
“The addition of Pal onto Equilibrium’s team, brings a highly skilled senior manager with a strong leadership history to Equilibrium EMEA, as Equilibrium looks to expand into Western and Eastern Europe and the Middle East in particular,” stated Sean Barger, CEO Equilibrium.
Storehaug joins Equilibrium from NetConnect, where he previously served as CEO. He has held leading roles in both startups and public software companies – covering the hosting, consulting and telecom sectors – with nearly 20 years of experience in the international IT industry and over 12 years as either CEO or sales director. Outside of Equilibrium and NetConnect, Storehaug also has experience working with such large-brand international companies as Apple Computer, Xerox Inc, and Telenor.

Storehaug has particularly had a strong record of building sales teams and long-term customer relations, with a good understanding of enterprise acquisition processes and customer strategies. He is an experienced team builder, coach, speaker and motivator. Storehaug also holds an MBA degree from the BI Norwegian Business School.
Storehaug will be particularly focused on client acquisition for Equilibrium’s recent multi-language product release for MediaRich for SharePoint, which includes Dutch, German, French and English support, enabling new opportunities for the company across the EMEA region.
