ERCOM Mobipass Network Emulator LTE-A Ready
Paris, September 16, 2013 – ERCOM has announced that its Carrier Aggregation (CA) feature on its LTE test equipment Mobipass is fully in production and currently being used by Tier1 OEM Vendors, ahead of this week’s LTE Asia.
LTE-A (LTE-Advanced) is progressing rapidly in the market especially in South Korea, Japan and US.
CA is a major feature requested by many LTE MNOs to enhance the user experience of their customers. This technology is able to deliver higher speeds to end-users and increase the quality of the radio coverage by taking advantages of extended bandwidth and multi-frequency radio wave propagation effects. For getting all benefits from CA, advanced testing and optimisation tools are required to master all the complex network parameters contributing to the end-user quality of experience. Mobipass, the leading LTE UE emulation tool, with its unique multi-UE channel emulation capability, is the tool that will help network vendors and MNOs tune and deploy first class CA service. Existing Mobipass customers can easily be upgraded to CA features.
