Netmania has confirmed that the company has joined forces with Alcadis who have just become the business’ sole partner in Belgium and the Netherlands
One of the UK’s leading providers of IT services and solutions has announced today that the company has appointed Alcadis IP Solutions to deliver the business’ low-cost, feature-rich Auto Configuration Server (ACS) into the Belgian and Dutch markets.
Netmania IT has teamed up with the value added distributor as part of the company’s global expansion strategy. The union means that Alcadis will be the sole distributor of Netmania’s cutting-edge auto configuration server – ACSLite – to Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in Belgium and the Netherlands.
As a result, Alcadis IP Solutions will now be able to offer clients a cost-effective, scalable ACS which can either be hosted by Netmania IT for a low annual license fee, or which the customer can host and simply pay a one-off perpetual license fee.
“The ISP market has changed considerably over the years, creating a range of new opportunities. Netmania’s ACSLite platform is exactly what our customers need to enable them to stay one step ahead of the competition,” said Maurice de Graaff, Commercial Director of Alcadis IP Solutions.
“End-users have ever-increasing demands for high-quality services at lower prices and while managing the CPE used to be a premium carrier grade service, nowadays ISPs are expected to provide it as standard. We’ve found that smaller ISPs have subsequently been struggling to compete due to the large investment required for a basic ACS platform to manage the CPE.
“However, this is about to change thanks to Netmania’s remarkably cost-effective ACSLite platform because it will enable them to go head-to-head with their competitors.”
According to Hans van Elsen, Technical Director at Alcadis IP Solutions, the company has already identified the demand for a TR-069 platform among small to medium sized ISPs in the business’ existing client base.
“We have assisted some of our customers in building the business-case but ran into investment hurdles when it came to basic TR-069 platforms,” he said.
“As soon as we heard about Netmania’s ACSLite platform we realised that it was the perfect ACS for our customers because it provides a high-quality, entry-level solution at a price which small to medium sized ISPs can afford.”
