(Nasdaq:EXFO) (TSX:EXF) announced today the launch of the latest innovations to its line of handheld field testers: the FTB-880 NetBlazer Multiservice Tester, a powerful, comprehensive and fast test module for testing all DSn/PDH, SONET/SDH and Ethernet packet-based services up to 10G rates, and the FTB-810x NetBlazer Series Transport Tester, which provides a complete test suite for DSn/PDH and SONET/SDH interfaces up to 10 Gbit/s—housed on the ultra-portable FTB-1 Platform.
FTB-880 NetBlazer is a comprehensive, all-in-one multiservice test module that covers the test requirements for DSn/PDH and SONET/SDH interfaces for traditional transport testing as well as Ethernet interfaces up to 10G rates. It is the ideal test application for the deployment of multiservice network elements and services used in access/metro networks, including mobile backhaul. What’s more, the FTB-880 is unique on the market due to its FLEX configuration, which enables to configure any combination of rates and interfaces on the module for an exact match to meet the requirements of every field technician.
