Which regions does Connect-World cover?
Connect-World now spans the whole world. Connect-World releases regional issues in Africa and the Middle East (AME), Asia-Pacific (AP), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Europe, India, Latin America and North America, as well as a Global issue.

What kinds of people contribute articles to the magazine?
A unique feature of Connect-World is that the articles are not written by journalists. All Connect-World articles are contributed by distinguished decision makers in the industry. Connect-World contributors are the leaders of governments, industry, international organisations and institutions, legal experts and bankers, as well as their advisors.

Recent non-industrial contributors include, for example: Anne Berner, Minister of Transport and Communications, Finland and Mark Prisk, MP & Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Smart Cities Group, UK.  Industrial contributors include, for example: Daniel Hajj Aboumrad, CEO, America Movil; Stephen Spengler, CEO, Intelsat and Eva Chen, CEO, Trend Micro.

What is the procedure for contributing articles?
Connect-World is always looking for more articles for the magazines for each region. To contribute an article, simply contact our editorial team, who will forward your request to our Editor-In-Chief for analysis and a decision: editorial@connect-world.com

What kind of people read the magazine?
The group of people that contribute articles to Connect-World are the same group of people, including their peers from other industries regionally and globally. Connect-World also produces an e-Letter called Connect-World Highlights, which goes out to some 13,000 subscribers, members of the public and private sector, every fortnight.

What does the Connect-World forum discuss?
Connect-World is the decision makers’ forum for ICT driven development. Connect-World discusses how ICT shapes global and regional development at the social, political and economic level. Connect-World provides a stage where the highest-level decision makers can present their analysis of the status quo and suggest new methods for innovation and development through technological integration and digital inclusion. How do you find out when the next issue in your region is published?
Now covering the whole world, Connect-World never sleeps and is constantly striving to release the next issue. To find out when the next issue in your area is being published, from the homepage, choose Publishing Calendar, which is under Magazine, on the drop down menu. In the publishing calendar section you will find the expected release dates for all the issues that year. Alternatively please send an email to info@connect-world.com

Connect-World began life as a quarterly regional magazine for the Latin American market, in 1996. Due to the market, Connect-World was originally published in tri-lingual format, English, Portuguese and Spanish. The publication has now grown and covers the whole world as it approaches its 21st anniversary. Also see about us page.

How often are Connect-World issues released?
Connect-World typically releases an issue each year for each region. So that is a minimum of 12 guaranteed issues each year. Connect-World often releases two or, in some cases, three issues in a single year for a single region, e.g. Asia Pacific 01/02. Connect-World also releases special bonus issues to commemorate special events, shows and exhibitions. A special Global-ICT edition wasl released in 2005 to commemorate the United Nations World Summit on the Information Society.

What format does Connect-World come in?
Connect-World magazines can be obtained in traditional printed format, on high quality gloss paper, perfect bound with a semi-hard cover (similar to an annual report). Connect-World is now also available in PDF format, which you can download online. Also see about us page.

What is the difference between the PDF and printed version of the magazine?
The traditional printed version of the magazine is published on high quality gloss paper. The digital version of the magazine is in PDF format, which is easily accessible wherever you and you don’t need to be online to access it. Whereas the printed magazine is delivered to your desk by post, the PDF version is delivered to you instantly via email.

How do you access articles from the website?

All past articles are available online and are FREE to read. Articles can be accessed by choosing the Homepage and clicking Magazine from the Main Menu and then selecting any of the regional editions listed.

How do you subscribe to the magazine?
Subscription to either the printed version or the PDF version is fairly simple. From the Homepage, click subscribe on the menu, make your selection and follow the prompts through the secure pages where you can fill in your payment details.

Do you run any promotional offers for people that want to subscribe?
Connect-World is continuously running promotional offers for potential subscribers. Most of the offers Connect-World offers are usually through trade societies and associations, where their members are entitled to up to 50 per cent off their subscription. So if you are in the ICT society or association, check with them and find out whether you are entitled to something similar. If not, you can contact our marketing team, where we can arrange a similar promotion marketing@connect-world.com

How do you register for the newsletter?
Connect-World Highlights is our fortnightly newsletter, which goes out to over 13,000 members. Members who receive the newsletter also get access to one free article. To register for the newsletter, from the Homepage, simply click on the link for e-Letter registration, which leads you to a secure page where you can fill in and submit your details /register.htm

Do you have information about trade shows and how do we find out about trade events?
Connect-World sponsors many of the major events and trade shows that take place within the industry. Information about events and direct links to the event and organiser websites can be found on our website. From the Homepage, click events, which will lead you to an extensive list of forthcoming trade events.

Does Connect-World attend trade shows and events?
Connect-World sponsors most of the major events in the industry and is therefore present. Even when we’re not sponsors, Connect-World endeavours to have a representative present at all shows. See also events and publishing calendar
