FarrPoint ensures a secure field of play for the SFA
FarrPoint, Scotland’s fastest growing technology consultancy, has helped the Scottish Football Association to review the Scottish football governing body’s current IT infrastructure and independently assess Invitation To Tender responses. The review has resulted in a range of recommendations designed to improve the efficiency and security of the Scottish FA’s nationalnetwork.
FarrPoint also reviewed the Scottish FA’s tendering processes andidentified optimisation opportunities.The resultant evaluation summary report to the Scottish FA has allowed them to clearly assess their options and enter into procurement negotiations.The new IT infrastructure will enable more flexible and mobile working for 200+ users andprovide secure and reliable services for server and web hosting, email, file storage plus a new Wide Area Network.
