FASTWEB Selects NetCracker to Transform Service Layer
Next-Generation NetCracker OSS to Leverage Innovative Architecture, Reduce TCO and Improve Operational Efficiency
WALTHAM, MA — April 14, 2015 — NetCracker Technology announced today that FASTWEB, one of the main telecommunications providers in Italy, selected NetCracker for its OSS transformation to optimize operations and provide better quality services for its customers. FASTWEB offers a wide range of integrated Internet as well as fixed and mobile voice services to residential customers and small businesses. FASTWEB also offers advanced telecommunications and ICT services, such as housing, cloud computing, security and unified communications to the enterprise segment, including diverse specialized verticals such as public administration, universities and research centers.
NetCracker will provide its NetCracker Framework, as well as its Service Order Management, Service Inventory and Service Information Management solutions as part of this transformation. This OSS transformation will accelerate FASTWEB’s time-to-market and reduce unnecessary expenses associated with offering highly innovative services.
