FCI Introduces Economical and Lead-free Un-shrouded EconoStik™ 2.54mm Headers
SINGAPORE (Sep 09, 2014) — FCI, a leading supplier of connectors and interconnect systems, is proud to introduce the new and economical EconoStik™ 2.54mm range of un-shrouded headers which is capable of supporting a wide variety of board-to-board applications.
EconoStik™ 2.54mm is available in single-row and double-row with vertical through-hole, right-angle through-hole and vertical SMT versions, with pin counts up to 72 positions. Standard mating and tail as well as customizable lengths are available to support specific applications.
The un-shrouded header has four equal quality surfaces which ensure good mating performance with different types of receptacles. It features a current rating of 3A and a retention force between pin and housing of 9N per pin.
The high temperature resin supports wave soldering and reflow soldering. It is able to withstand voltages as high as 1500V AC. The resin of housing is UL94V-0 flammability rated, and meets industry standards UL E66906 and CSA LR46923.
