WHO: The Broadband Forum – a global consortium dedicated to the development of broadband network, architecture, management and testing specifications.
WHAT: A special fiber-focused update will be presented by the Broadband Forum at the FTTH Conference in London (Latest deployment data supplied by Point Topic).
Robin Mersh, CEO of the Broadband Forum, will highlight the latest regional and global deployment statistics and trends, with a particular focus on the growing penetration of hybrid fiber/DSL deployments and the opportunities it presents. He will also provide a technical update, focused on the Broadband Forum BBF.247 ONU Certification Program and highlight the latest multi-service architecture work at the Forum, positioning the broadband network for FMC.
On Tuesday 19 Feb, Robin Mersh and Dave Thorne will also present on behalf of the Broadband Forum during the FTTH Council workshops focusing on FTTH Technology – Latest Trends and Solutions:
