First Businesspost and Pagero sign e-invoicing interoperability agreement

Customers from both companies will benefit from efficient and secure cross organisation communication

October 5th 2011 – Pagero and First Businesspost are members of VeR and have used the legal and technical framework of VeR for this implementation. We believe that interoperability is crucial in growing the e-invoicing market to leverage business benefits globally.

“We are delighted with this collaboration with First Businesspost, one of Germany’s major operators. No single operator can support global data communication. Both our customers will benefit from this agreement as it will give them an easy, efficient and secure way to communicate with many more companies”, said Jonas Edlund, Vice President Marketing & Alliances, Pagero.

“With this agreement, First BusinessPost and Pagero are entering a new dimension of cross border e-invoicing. The interoperability of both networks will connect Business Partners in Germany to the entire Scandinavian Market and vice versa”, said Hubert S. Hohenstein, Managing Director First BusinessPost.
