FOOTBALL CLUB TEAMS UP WITH TELECOM FIRM

COULD YOU BE THE FACE OF ROVERS TELECOM?

 

Are you Doncaster Rovers’ biggest fan? If so, you could be the Championship club’s next signing as the face of Rovers Telecom.

Rovers Telecom, an innovative partnership between the club and Doncaster-based communications specialist Kat Communications, is launching a new Pay As You Go network.

Rovers fans will soon have their own Pay As You Go network which will see revenue from top ups going straight to the club.

But before the new network launches on November 26, Rovers Telecom is looking for the “Face of Rovers Telecom”.

To become Rovers’ latest star, simply pull on your Rovers shirt and upload a photo  (maximum of four per fan) to the Rovers Telecom Facebook page.

The fan with the most “Likes” will become the Face of Rovers Telecom appearing in advertisements and online promotions.

The lucky winner will be announced at Rovers’ home game against Watford on November 26. Rovers’ official telecoms partner Kat Communications, an all-in-one communications specialist providing end-to-end telecoms to companies across the country, is match sponsor at the game.

Anthony Temperton, Kat Communications Managing Director, said Rovers Telecom can now offer fans a great Pay As You Go alternative.

“Rovers Telecom delivers for fans and delivers for the club with savings of up to 50 per cent compared to the major networks,” said Anthony, whose growing business provides support to a range of businesses including Doncaster Chamber.

“It gives fans superb UK coverage, cheap calls and texts and Rovers get a share of the top up revenue.”

The Rovers Mobile network has 99 per cent UK coverage and SIM cards cost £10 and that includes a £10 top up.

Fans calling other Rovers mobile network customers will get calls and texts from just 5p. You can top up at 45,000 locations through Paypoint, Payzone and with a credit card.

Rovers fans registering their SIM will also receive free Rovers texts, special offers, and wallpapers.

Andrew Whitham, Doncaster Rovers acting Head of Commercial, said: “This is a great opportunity for fans to get behind the club, keep up to date with everything at the Keepmoat and save money on calls and texts.

“Rovers have been working closely with KAT Communications since early this year to deliver excellent deals for fans. This is another example of partnership working which delivers results for everyone.”

The closing date for the Facebook competition is 11pm on Thursday November 24.  Terms and conditions available upon request.
