CMO Miguel Monforte to Speak on the Value of Cloud-based Voice-driven Services

Madrid, Spain  27 September, 2012— Almira Labs, a provider of software solutions for communications service providers and enterprises, announced that Miguel Monforte, the company’s chief marketing officer, will speak at ITEXPO Austin 2012, as well as the collocated LatinComm Conference and Expo. The concurrent events will be held on October 2-5 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.  Mr. Monforte’s panel session at ITEXPO Austin, “The SIRI Effect,” is scheduled for Thursday, October 4th at 9:00am. The session at the LatinComm Conference, “Mobile Applications Opportunities in Latin America,” will take place at 11:00 am on the same day.

One of the largest conferences in the communications technology sector, ITEXPO Austin 2012 attracts over seven thousand professionals, including over one thousand attendees from Latin America and the Caribbean region. In his sessions, Monforte will discuss how service providers can cost-effectively deploy cloud-based, voice-driven value added services and features that will work across all handsets, including smartphones, feature phones and fixed line devices. These services enable operators to increase revenue, improve profitability, and enhance subscriber satisfaction across the entire subscriber base.

“I am looking forward to demonstrating the revenue-generating opportunities that can be leveraged through voice-driven services and features”, said Monforte. “Many operators are naturally drawn to the powerful functionalities of today’s smart phones, and tend to overlook the tremendous revenue potential that legacy phone users represent. While these subscribers may not have the latest devices, they certainly want the services and functionalities associated with smartphones. The sessions in Austin will help educate operators how they can tap into this emerging market by integrating cloud-based, voice-driven services into their operations.”
