Fixed wireless to play significant role as European Union looks to achieve significant Europe-wide broadband growth
7 March 2013 – Cambium Networks™, a leading provider of IP wireless broadband access and transport solutions, has welcomed the European Union’s decision to acknowledge fixed wireless broadband technology as an enabler for Next Generation Access (NGA).
The news comes as Cambium continues to enable service providers worldwide with high-speed wireless broadband connectivity with its Canopy 450 platform. A fourth-generation (4G) fixed outdoor wireless broadband access solution, the PMP 450 utilises a combination of very high throughput, low latency and GPS synchronisation allowing service providers to rapidly deploy new services and increase revenue and profitability while realising a much faster return on investment.
