| Dublin, Ireland – 18 September 2012 – NewBay (www.newbay.com), a leader in cloud services, today announced their expansion into Paris, France to better service the company’s growing client base in Europe and to accelerate growth plans for the region. As part of NewBay’s expansion, Andrea Rus has joined the company as Head of Business Development, Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa (SEMEA). In addition, based on customer demand, NewBay is increasing its off site storage and network footprint by doubling its data center capacity in Europe for global cloud services. Andrea joins NewBay from MobileAware, a leading provider of mobile self-care solutions, where he held the position of Sales Director EMEA, managing software and SaaS sales (direct, indirect, enterprise, ISV and operator) for the region. Previously, at MobileAware, Andrea was responsible for Channel Sales, where he established an extensive partner network of system integrators and VARs to drive revenue growth in SEMEA. To support its global customer base, NewBay’s current operations comprise of 13 data centers across Europe, Americas and APAC. A number of NewBay’s global accounts are managed directly from data centers in Europe.
