North America head Rick Corker to join the Nokia Siemens Networks Executive Board
Rick Corker, head of the North American region, will join the Nokia Siemens Networks executive board and executive management team, effective immediately. Corker will continue to report to CEO, Rajeev Suri, and is based in Dallas, USA.
Corker was appointed to lead the North American region on April 15, 2011 and has significantly grown the business since then. North America has been the company’s fastest growing region and still holds considerable growth potential as mobile operators look to manage the gigabyte revolution and upgrade their networks to Long Term Evolution (LTE). Before this role, Corker served as head of the Asia Pacific region, where he delivered strong growth, especially in the key countries Korea and Japan.
