The Rohde & Schwarz electronics group strengthens its position in the growing market of IT security by acquiring gateprotect AG Germany. Offering unified threat management (UTM) solutions and easy-to-operate firewalls “made in Germany”, gateprotect has been effectively protecting enterprises throughout the world against cyber attacks for more than 10 years.
Munich, July 28, 2014 — By acquiring gateprotect AG Germany, Rohde & Schwarz is investing in the IT technology market and gaining additional expertise in the field of network security. The solutions from gateprotect optimally complement the Rohde & Schwarz product portfolio.
