Geo Networks welcomes Andy Tipping as Sales Director for online sector

 

 

London, United Kingdom, 19 September 2011 – Geo Networks (Geo), a provider of dedicated fibre networks, has appointed Andy Tipping as Sales Director to head up its new online business sector team. Andy will build on Geo’s recent success in the online space, with customers including toptable. He will be responsible for the evolution of Geo’s online proposition, targeting transaction-heavy, web based sectors such as gaming, gambling and e-Tail.

 

 

 

Andy brings with him over 30 years of experience within the telecoms sector, with notable ability in developing online propositions. In his career, he has held high level roles at BT Wholesale and Cable & Wireless, where he was responsible for generating new revenue streams for the data and voice market. He has also developed a franchised courier business for over two years, growing it by over 50% in that time and generating a turnover of £22m. He will report to Caroline Ward, Chief Marketing Officer at Geo.
