GlobeCast Chief Marketing Officer and Americas CEO Chosen as IBC2012 Panelists

PARIS — Aug. 23, 2012 — GlobeCast today announced two of the company’s senior executives have been selected to participate in panel sessions at the upcoming IBC2012 show in Amsterdam.

Lisa Coelho, CEO of GlobeCast Americas, will participate in the panel entitled, “Will the Same Players Shoot Again in the OTT World?” The session will be held on Sept. 8 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in room E102, and will examine the impact of OTT development on traditional broadcast vendors as well as the current opportunities in the OTT market. Coelho will be joined on the panel by Francois Moreau de Saint-Martin, CEO of Viaccess-Orca and Frederic Garnier, Director General at Kit Digital France.

Also participating in an IBC2012 panel will be Philippe Rouxel, Chief Marketing Officer of GlobeCast. The session, “Where Cloud Delivers for Media,” will be held on Sept. 9 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. in the Emerald Room. Panelists will discuss how their organization is benefiting from cloud-based technology as well as how broadcasters can implement cloud-based solutions while successfully maximizing efficiencies and addressing content security issues. Rouxel will be joined by members from three leading European broadcast organizations: Harry Strover, Chief Enterprise Architect, BBC (UK); Frederic Brochard, Broadcast Technical Director, Canal+ (France); and Oliver Copp, International IT Governance Manager, ProSiebenSat.1 (Germany).
