 On May 15th–16th, 2015 theGSGroupholding companynamedthe developers for its own gaming platform duringthe DevGAMM Moscow 2015 international conference. AmongstthemareHerocraft, Alawarandotherwell-known companies. Representativesoftheholding companypresented Development Kit for games on-boardingfor the new platform to the game industry leaders. Thesecond advancedprototypeof agamingconsoledevelopedby GS Group was also presented at the conference.

Auniquedigitaldevice thatcombines thefunctionalityofgameconsoleand asatelliteHD set-top boxwaspresentedto themobilegamesmarketexpertsforthefirsttimeinJanuary 2015. InthemeantimeGS Groupstartedan activesearchforgamedevelopersforitsowngamingplatformpowered by the Android OS. Forthemoment,GS Group hasalready reachedtentativeagreementson gamesdevelopmentandprototyping with a range of global leaders in this sphere includingCreative Mobile, Herocraft, Steel Monkeys, and Alawar. At theDevGAMM Moscow 2015 conference, theGSGroupholding companypresented the Software Development Kit (SDK) and console prototype with accompanying devices to representatives of the leading game developers.

 The newgameconsoledevelopedbyGSGroupallowsplaying games of allgenres either individually or online andprovides opportunity to watch satellite channels in Full HD. Innovativefunctionalityofthedevicewouldbeavailableto subscribers of the leading Russian satellite operator Tricolor TV. The newconsoleprototype that waspresentedatDevGAMM Moscow 2015includes the option of a fully featuredgame console operating without the connection to satellite TV.

GSGroupcontinuestoengage developers of games compatible with the new platform. Theauthorsofinterestingprojectswould be provided with a full Development Kit and the ability to place the gamesinthe application store for free. Thegameswouldbeavailablefordownloadto the widest subscriber base. Theprojecthas beendevelopedspecificallyforthe leading Russian satellite operatorTricolor TV, where an active subscriber base exceeds 11 million households. Moreover, severalwaysofgamemonetizationwill beproposed to developers, including the free-to-play business model and premium versions. Theauthorsofgameprojects thatseemmost interesting to the holding company may receive investment support from the GS Venture corporate venture fund.

“DevGAMMattractsbothyoungandexperiencedgamedevelopers, who are searching for a publisher or an investor for the further project promotion. GSGroupisopentocooperationandinvitestalented authorsto join the project. Developmentoftheconsoleandgamingplatformisalmost completeand the newdevicewill be available in thefourthquarterof 2015,”–says Tatiana Mikhalevskaya, Head of the project.

DevGAMM Moscow 2015, an internationalconferenceforefficientcommunicationamongindie game developers, gaminggraphicsspecialists, programmers, representatives of gaming web portals, game publishers and potential investors, gatheredover 1500 game industry professionals. TheconferencewasorganizedbyRenatus Media, LLC, oneoftheworld’s leadingpublishersof social and mobile games.
