GTS CE appoints Milos Mastnik as Head of Group Marketing

Prague – September 6, 2010 – GTS Central Europe (“GTS”), a leading infrastructure based telecommunications operator in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), is pleased to announce the appointment of Miloš Mastník as Vice President, Head of Group Marketing. In his new position, Miloš Mastník will be responsible for managing the GTS Group’s market communication, public relations and segment marketing. He will be based in Prague, Czech Republic.

Miloš Mastník has over ten years experience in telecommunication industry. He worked as an Executive Director for Product Marketing in Czech Telecom. In 2004, he joined GTS Czech where he was responsible for product marketing, strategy and development. Since 2008, he has worked as Director of Commercial Support in GTS Novera managing marketing, segment marketing, process management, customer care and sales support.

Recently he has been responsible in GTS for overall project management of a new business model implementation focused on company-wide process improvement and standardization efforts as GTS continues to unify service offerings across the country business. Furthermore, he is coordinating the integration efforts for GTS’s recent purchase of Romanian operator, Datek.

“The set-up of a new regional marketing position for GTS is part of our strategy to consolidate and unify marketing activities throughout the Group,” explained Adam Sawicki, Group CEO at GTS, and added: “This follows our overall aim to solidify GTS’s  position as a leading regional data and data center player which will be also reflected in increased unification intensification of the Group’s marketing activities.”

Miloš Mastník graduated from the University of Economics in Prague. He received an International Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He also completed his studies of Telecommunication Technologies at the Delft University of Technology. Miloš Mastník was born in Prague, Czech Republic, in 1971. He is married and has two children.
