GTS Continues to Evolve and Invest

Warsaw/Prague, February 26, 2014 – GTS Central Europe (GTS), a leading provider of integrated telecommunications solutions and data center services throughout Central and Eastern Europe, today announced its unaudited financial results for 2013. Despite the weakening of some local currencies, the company posted its highest results ever for earnings before taxes, interest, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) and operating cash flow.

The main points of the consolidated, unaudited financial results for 2013 as compared to the prior year on a constant currency basis are:

· Revenue of 376 million Euros, a decrease of 2% from the prior year

· EBITDA of 104 million Euros, an increase of 2% from the prior year and reflecting a 28% margin

· Operating cash flow (EBITDA less capital expenditures) of 54 million Euros, an increase of 3% from the prior year and reflecting a 14% margin

Product evolution continues to be a primary focus at GTS. As voice and internet revenues declined from regulated and competitive price pressure, Ethernet, cloud and data center services grew at double digit rates. Industry leading customer service combined with simple pricing led to the expansion of Ethernet services to more countries. With platforms throughout the CEE region, hundreds of customers rely on GTS cloud resources to meet the evolving needs of their businesses. Unified and flexible solutions built around their needs, not arbitrary networks and products, are the keys to serving enterprises today.

With investments of 50 million Euros in 2013, GTS aggressively expanded its network. An average of more than 5 buildings per day were connected in response to customer demand. In addition, a new IP/MPLS network was built based on the most advanced Cisco carrier routing technology. Customers will now benefit from one of the most efficient, scalable and lowest latency networks in the CEE region. A commitment to provide the best quality services was recognized through the ISO 27001 certification of all GTS data centers.

“As competition has increased, we stayed focused on leveraging our network infrastructure to deliver leading services at value prices. GTS is successfully transforming our revenue towards more advanced and comprehensive ICT solutions which reach deeper into the enterprise environment. I am proud of our achievements in 2013. Only the best employees in the industry could have delivered them.” said Danny Bottoms, CEO, GTS.
