HP Helps Comviva Manage Mobile Value Added Services (VAS) Solutions in Africa
Nairobi, Kenya, 08 November, 2012 – HP today announced that, Comviva, the global leader in providing mobile Value Added Services (VAS) and financial solutions has selected HP Software to help manage operations of its mobile value added services to provide a consistent positive experience for its growing African customer base.
Comviva provides mobile VAS and financial solutions to more than 130 operators and financial institutions in over 90 countries. Beyond traditional voice, these services include music, data, gaming, messaging, customer value & retention, mobile payments and prepaid recharge solutions.
Comviva selected HP Operations Manager software to meet the demand for value added service offerings and to consolidate its leadership position in the fast-growing African market. With this HP software, Comviva will improve its ability to manage customers’ end to end service experience. HP Operations Manager software will provide performance monitoring and analysis of IT assets, to establish a Global Network Operations Center (GNOC). Further, Comviva’s GNOC will provide real-time visibility into its operations, including the ability to monitor service levels across the network.
