· Multiscreen platform enabling delivery of content to all screens and OTT-like experiences to consumers
· Massively grow a content library and centralize multiscreen video workflow – from ingest to direct distribution to subscribers
· Ability to bring multiscreen services to market at unprecedented speed
Amsterdam, Netherlands, 3 September, 2013 – Clearleap, the leading provider of multiscreen video logistics solutions for the television industry, will be demonstrating its multiscreen platform at IBC 2013, 13th-17th September, Amsterdam, (stand #14.270). The platform simplifies the logistics of managing, processing, and offering massive video libraries of high-value content on any screen. Clearleap’s platform and solutions are currently used by some of the largest industry names in the US including HBO, Time Warner Cable, Verizon, the Food Network, and the Travel Channel.
Clearleap’s unique approach to multiscreen enables operators and content providers to offer their own multiscreen solutions in order to compete with existing OTT services, a fixed part of today’s media landscape. Clearleap launched into the European market earlier this year, and IBC 2013 is an opportunity for the company to make its public debut of its multiscreen platform. The company already has a strong presence in the region, with data centers up and running in both Frankfurt and Amsterdam and a number of contracts secured.
“Our platform is a stand-out technology because of the way it enables the delivery of huge video libraries to both traditional TV systems and to end consumers through OTT-like experiences,” said Braxton Jarratt, CEO, Clearleap. “Our solutions leverage the inherent flexibility of IP so that content and service providers can aggressively scale multiscreen video offerings at an unprecedented rate for a fraction of the cost. We are excited about offering the European Pay-TV industry a fresh approach to TV Everywhere.”
The platform comprises of two core components: ClearFlow and ClearPlay. ClearFlow reduces the complexity of ingesting, compiling and preparing video and metadata assets for delivery to any screen, allowing content and service providers to unleash efficiencies and improve operational processes. ClearPlay enables full management and monetization of high quality TV services streamed directly to consumers on mobile devices, TVs, and the web.
“Clearleap is committed to driving forward seamless TV Everywhere services in Europe, in the way it has already done in the US since the company’s beginnings,” said Preben Schack, VP of Sales EMEA, Clearleap. “Visitors to our booth will be able to see first-hand how our cost-efficient solutions easily integrate into existing multiscreen business plans or work together to offer a system for first-rate delivery of content to all screens.”
Clearleap will be exhibiting in the IBC Connected World on stand #14.270, Amsterdam, September 13th – 17th.
