InfoComm 2013 sees Exterity launch new Avedia

g4370 TV Gateway and demonstrate the power of Artio IPTV Portal

Edinburgh, 11 June 2013, Exterity, the leading provider of enterprise IPTV communication technologies, today announces that InfoComm (Booth 4765, Orange County Convention Centre, Orlando, 8-14 June, 2013) will see it launch a new video gateway, the AvediaStream g4370 TVgateway, as well as launch and demonstrate the power of its new Artio customisable portal solution.

AvediaStream TVgateways are the simplest route to provide live TV and radio for any building, campus, or metropolitan area without the added expense of a separate cable network solely for TV. The brand new dual ATSC/ QAM g4370 gateway provides organizations with the ability to stream quadruple the number of channels compared to single tuner devices.

Exterity will additionally launch and demonstrate its new Artio portal. Artio enables organisations to quickly and easily create and customise a variety of portals to suit particular audiences, and to add bespoke functions such as branding, messaging, access rights, recording and scheduling.

“The InfoComm launch of our Artio portal and the new Avedia g4370 gateway designed primarily for the US market sees us improve the power and flexibility of enterprise IPTV for American organisations,” said Colin Farquhar, CEO, Exterity. “The high-bandwidth efficiency of this new TV gateway and the entire Exterity range plays an important role in ensuring that live TV and in-house video sources can be distributed efficiently over existing corporate communications infrastructure, minimizing capex/opex costs and the time to launch.”

“The launch of our new Artio portal provides the flexibility of user experience that goes far beyond what was previously possible in the Enterprise IPTV space. For instance, Artio enables organisations to provide specific tailored UIs for different groups of users, enabling organisations to fully unlock the possibilities of enterprise IPTV,” concluded Farquhar.

Visitors to the Exterity InfoComm 2013 booth will also learn how some of America’s largest corporates and organizations create and manage tailored TV, Video on Demand, radio and interactive pages that fully engage viewers across multiple screens and devices. Its solutions are chosen by corporates to distribute live and archived news, current affairs, on demand training, company briefings and events to public screens and employee desktops. Across the financial services sector, Exterity enables major finance companies to deliver breaking news to trading floor screens and individual desktops.

Sporting Arenas and Stadia are under increased pressure to provide entertainment that delivers an outstanding experience for fans, staff and corporate guests. Van Andel Arena, Detroit Pistons and WinSport’s Canada Olympic Park are among a growing number of North American sporting arenas and organizations using Exterity enterprise IPTV to enable venues and teams to communicate a dynamic mix of information, updates, clips, scores and live footage of sporting action to fully engage fans and visitors.

Exterity will be supported at InfoComm through the on-booth presence of industry experts from JB&A, its North American distribution partner. JB&A extends the reach of Exterity products across the USA and Canada and supports growth in the Exterity StreamForce reseller program.
