Intamac integrates Technicolor’s Qeo communication framework in its solution

…to deliver the next generation of integrated Connected Home solutions

Northampton, UK – 18th March 2013 – Intamac Systems Limited, the Connected Home service provider, announces that it is actively collaborating with global technology leader Technicolor to integrate the newly announced Qeo communication framework in its solutions.

Technicolor designed Qeo as an open software framework that bridges smart home services, entertainment services, connected devices, and over-the-top cloud solutions. With Qeo, all operating systems, middleware, and applications can be interconnected and “speak to one another” to deliver new value added services and applications for the Connected Life.

Existing Intamac Connected Home services, which include but are not limited to Home Monitoring, Video Surveillance, Energy Monitoring, Home Automation and Senior Care, can now be integrated with other service domains, such as multimedia and entertainment systems, through Technicolor’s Qeo communication framework. Through Qeo Intamac services and the technologies and services of multiple other vendors and service providers will be able to interoperate, sharing data to enhance user experience and support use cases that have so far not been possible.
