Intelsat Announces Proposed Redemption of 9 1/4% Senior Notes due 2014 and 6 7/8% Senior Secured Debentures due 2028 of Intelsat Corporation

Intelsat S.A. today announced that its subsidiary, Intelsat Corporation (“Intelsat Corp”), intends to redeem all of the $111,833,000 aggregate principal amount outstanding of its 9¼% Senior Notes due 2014 (the “2014 Notes”) and all of the $41,000 aggregate principal amount outstanding of its 67/8% Senior Secured Debentures due 2028 (the “2028 Notes”).

Intelsat Corp has issued a notice of redemption pursuant to the indenture for the 2014 Notes stating that it intends to redeem all of the 2014 Notes on January 20, 2011, or such later date to which such redemption may be extended by Intelsat in its sole discretion (such date, as it may be extended, the “2014 Notes Redemption Date”). The redemption price for the 2014 Notes will be determined in accordance with the indenture for the 2014 Notes plus accrued and unpaid interest thereon to the 2014 Notes Redemption Date.

Intelsat Corp has issued a notice of redemption pursuant to the indenture for the 2028 Notes stating that it intends to redeem all of the 2028 Notes on December 27, 2010, or such later date to which such redemption may be extended by Intelsat in its sole discretion (such date, as it may be extended, the “2028 Notes Redemption Date”). The redemption price for the 2028 Notes will be determined in accordance with the indenture for the 2028 Notes plus accrued and unpaid interest thereon to the 2028 Notes Redemption Date.
