International Research Firm Parks Associates to present consumer research and OTT video business strategies at 2012 IP&TV World Forum

Parks Associates will participate in multiple sessions addressing new OTT video business models, second-screen strategies, and consumer research in video experiences at the 2012 IP&TV World Forum, March 20-22 in London.

According to Parks Associates, the worldwide proliferation of Internet-connectable consumer electronics is a key driver in the deployment and adoption of IP services. In 2011, 98 million households worldwide had a smart TV, which both pay-TV and OTT providers will leverage in deploying online video services. In addition, 22 million households had an Internet-connectable Blu-ray player, 14 million had a digital video media player, and 74 million had a media tablet.
