Interoute’s Virtual Data Centre wins digital technology award for innovation
London, 14 June 2012 – Interoute, owner operator of Europe’s largest cloud services platform, announced today that its Virtual Data Centre (VDC) has been awarded the 2012 Information, Communication and Media Technology (ICMT) Award for TLC driven convergence.
The award ceremony, which took place on 12 June, was hosted by the President of the Italian Republic Senate, Roberto Schifani. The award recognises the superior simplicity and security of Interoute’s Virtual Data Centre and the contribution it has made to advancing in cloud computing technology.
