Further strengthens professional services and customer support

Cambridge, Jan 16 2012 – ip.access, the pioneering developer of small cell mobile technology, today announced a further strengthening of its management team.

The company confirmed that Gwyn Williams will join this month as VP of Worldwide Customer Operations. In his new role Mr Williams will assume responsibility and leadership for the company’s global professional services and customer support organisations.

Welcoming Mr Williams, Rob Jones, Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales, Support & Services, said: “Gwyn brings a wealth of relevant experience to the process of delivering, developing and serving global customers. He is used to both managing complex technical integration and ensuring consistency of supply and first class support. Our established customer operations team already supports more than 60 operators worldwide, and Gwyn’s expertise will be invaluable as we deliver larger and more complex projects to quicker timescales in today’s maturing small cell market.”

Prior to joining ip.access, Mr Williams was Director for Worldwide Service Product Management for Tekelec. He has also held senior customer and professional services support roles across Europe with Tektronix and SignalSoft as well as managing operator relationships and technology integration with Lucent Technologies.
