iQela launches new innovative, cloud-based mobile-only solution for small and medium sized businesses

Innovator marks its launch with first reseller partner, NSN!

UK – 13th September 2016 – iQela, a pioneering mobile operator, has launched an innovative new service that gives small and medium sized businesses a complete mobile-first, cloud-based unified communications solution. It allows businesses to take control over their communications strategy, helping them to mobilise their workforce, boost productivity and eliminate expensive on-premise hardware upgrade and maintenance costs. In addition, mobile call recording, compliant to all current regulations, and unlimited cloud storage are available as dedicated services.

iQela Mobile Office offers single number calling for your business, rich UC capabilities, customisable auto-attendant, and intelligent call routing based on employee availability. Because it has been built from the ground up specifically for mobile phones, it even works on 2G networks! It means that your business will never miss an important sales or customer call again, regardless of your employees’ whereabouts – on the landline at their desk, or on the mobile when in the field.

The great news is that all of these features come for a fixed monthly fee, so businesses know exactly how much they will pay, and no contract ‘lock-in’.

Our globally proven platform is already used by more than five million business users around the world, meaning that you can focus on running your business, secure in the knowledge that the iQela service will take care of all your communications needs.

“Small businesses across the UK value the flexibility and freedom of mobile communication but still need the control and trust factor that customers gain from being directed to a traditional landline,” says Lorenza Brescia, CEO of iQela Business Mobile,  “Yet most services are incredibly inflexible and place a lot of extra burden on the customer in terms of equipment requirements and contract terms, and still fail to offer a full range of features such as Unified Communications and call recording to achieve compliance with regulations. We’re giving them access to advanced features, with the flexible terms today’s businesses demand”.

ONE NUMBER, COST REDUCTION

As part of the launch, iQela is excited to announce that it will operate as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) across the 3UK Network with coverage reaching 99% of the UK population. Voice and data services are on a single month contract basis with customers able to select a single number that can be seamlessly redirected between devices, based entirely on rules set by the customer.

iQela’s Mobile Office and Call Recording solutions will be available either via direct sales or through a community of value added resellers and solution providers. New Star Networks (NSN), recently named as one of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the UK by industry analyst Deloitte, has been announced as the first value added partner.

“NSN is delighted to have been chosen by iQela Business Mobile to be its first Channel Service Provider to open up the UK distribution market. Having worked closely with the iQela team to develop the Channel offering, NSN is excited to bring such a potentially disruptive product suite to our channel of over 108 active partners across the UK,” says Mark Shraga, CEO of New Star Networks (NSN) Ltd.

“We will be targeting small business users, particularly those with between 1 to 10 users who have not previously been able to access such services. The key differentiator is simply flexibility all the way through the offering for tariffs, contracts, BYOD and most importantly for our channel partners by enabling them to offer a whole host of value added services like Broadband and IT Solutions from their existing product suites alongside mobile unified communication,” Shraga adds.

iQela is optimised for the needs of SMEs. According to government data, there are approximately 5.3 million such companies in the UK.
