MCLEAN, Va. – September 15, 2010 – Iridium Communications Inc. (Nasdaq:IRDM) releases the following statement in response to the FCC’s decision about Globalstar and Open Range Petition:

“The importance of mobile satellite spectrum is demonstrated time and time again and cannot be overstated.
