Geneva, 27 October 2010`– ITU’s Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR) and Global Industry Leaders’ Forum provide a unique platform for industry, regulators and policymakers to debate key issues on ICT development.

With the theme ‘Enabling tomorrow’s digital world’, this 10th edition will focus on how regulators and policymakers can meet the challenge of stimulating nationwide broadband deployment through adaptive and targeted regulations and out-of-the-box tools. Top level decision makers and industry leaders will debate the critical issues shaping tomorrow’s digital world, including: the impact of broadband on the ICT sector and beyond; the forces driving today’s and tomorrow’s ICT markets, particularly in wireless sphere; and the migration from analogue to digital terrestrial broadcasting, including the digital dividend.
