IX Reach connects Italian network Redder as first remote peer at UAE-IX

IX Reach, the wholesale network solutions provider, has become the very first reseller to connect a network to the UAE-IX, the Dubai-based Internet Exchange, operated by DE-CIX.
Redder, an Italian telephony and Internet service provider, remotely connected from Europe to the Exchange via IX Reach’s global high-speed and robust infrastructure. The Italian network additionally connected to DE-CIX New York and expanded their peering agreements earlier in the year by connecting to DE-CIX’s Frankfurt site – adding to the growing list of Internet Exchanges they have connected to in the last year.
The addition of UAE-IX, makes a hat trick for Redder and DE-CIX as they become the first customer to peer at all three Internet Exchanges. Adding these additional Exchanges has allowed Redder to increase its direct and low-latency data transport with European, US and Arab peer networks within local marketplaces, enabling their customers to enjoy a faster and more reliable service.
