JacTravel validates their API system upgrade with Triometric’s new XML Comparator technology
07 March 2012 – JacTravel, the UK-based wholesaler best known for its extensive range of online hotels in Europe, USA, Canada and Asia, has validated their new API system for a new hotel booking platform using Triometric’s new XML Comparator technology.
The process involved capturing live transactions, replaying sets of transactions against parallel test environments for old and new APIs, comparing the results and reporting on any discrepancies. This approach allows development teams to understand exactly what needs to be done and simply deliver it.
JacTravel, their software supplier and Triometric have worked closely to create a rapid develop-test-fix cycle that has dramatically accelerated delivery stage testing.
