Johannesburg – May 8, 2018 – CMC Networks (CMC) continues to strengthen its Executive Committee with the appointment of Jatinder Sispal as its new EVP of Global Sales. Sispal brings over 20 years of carrier expertise to CMC.  He was previously instrumental in the creation of Telstra’s wholesale division in Europe after spending 10 years at Colt, where he held a number of leadership roles, most recently being responsible for the company’s indirect sales and marketing business channels across Northern Europe.

“We are delighted that Jatinder has joined CMC Networks,” stated Martin Springer, Chief Executive Officer of CMC. “He brings the sales leadership, along with an international network and successful track record that reflects our ambitious growth plans as the wholesale carrier of choice for all global carriers wishing to expand their capabilities in this exciting and complex region.”

“I’m excited to join CMC Networks, a company with great heritage in Africa and the Middle East with over 110 PoPs globally, all while contributing towards its strong growth in the region,” added Sispal.  “CMC is possibly one of the best kept secrets in the wholesale carrier industry and has been delivering sophisticated product solutions to global organizations in all vertical sectors, including manufacturing, government, and FMCG.  As we continue to expand our global presence, there has never been a better time for carriers to collaborate with CMC, realize their true incremental growth, and expand their services across the region. This is exactly what we’ve been enabling for our customers over the past two decades.”

Sispal is based in the UK, with his team spread across the USA, UK, Africa and Asia. CMC is committed to building stronger and more strategic relationships with carriers, understanding their emerging market strategies, and, in turn, building and executing a plan that realises those ambitions.
