Kapsch Group expands in Romania: larger branch office and clear plans for growth
Vienna, 7th of December 2011 – With the opening of a new, larger branch office, the Kapsch Group is providing a signal for expansion in Romania. Alongside further investment, Kapsch also plans to increase the number of employees in the country. By 2015, Kapsch is estimating income of more than EUR 15 million in Romania. Numerous internationally active Austria companies have already entrusted their projects in Romania to Kapsch.

Ambitious goals for the Kapsch Group in Romania

The new branch office will not only function as a regional business office of Kapsch BusinessCom. It is simultaneously also a central interface for the other subsidiaries of the Kapsch Group in Romania: Kapsch CarrierCom has already been integrated as a partner for the implementation of local projects in the fields of digital train radio (GSM-R) and the modernization of the railway networks over the course of multiple tenders. Kapsch TrafficCom provides solutions for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in Romania in order to be able to react actively to the local requirements over the course of the development of road infrastructure.
