Kcom shares PSN insight with public sector CIOs

Communications business on hand at PSN Summit

30 April 2013: Experts from Kcom will be attending the PSN Summit this week, to give advice to organisations that are thinking of creating a Public Services Network (PSN). The event, one of the biggest public service network (PSN) events of the year, takes place on Thursday 2 May at the QEII Conference Centre in Westminster. It gives CIOs in the public sector chance to explore the opportunities and obstacles associated with implementing a regional PSN.

Howard Inns, a member of the Public Sector team at Kcom, will be hosting a workshop to discuss the findings of a recent PSNGB survey. The survey was designed to get a better understanding of how a PSN can address some of the key concerns of the leaders of UK Public Sector organisations. As an active member of the PSNGB, the industry association for PSN suppliers, Kcom will also have a stand at the event to offer advice and expertise for those looking to understand how to make the most out of their regional PSN.

Kcom has a wealth of experience in delivering PSNs, providing regional PSN services in Staffordshire, Dorset, East Midlands and Sussex. Staffordshire County Council and East Sussex County Council will be presenting at other workshops to discuss the benefits they have achieved through PSN and how this has helped them embrace collaboration.
