KEYMILE showcases its solutions for future-proof broadband services at ANGA COM

Hanover, 27 May 2015 This year’s ANGA COM, the trade show and congress for broadband, cable & satellite in Cologne, will take place from 9 to 11 June. KEYMILE will be presenting its full range of products and services for high-speed broadband access and mission critical networks at the show.

Real solution scenarios will highlight how network operators can provide powerful and cost-efficient broadband services to corporate and residential customers.

This year KEYMILE will have its own stand at ANGA COM, the trade show in Cologne for broadband, cable & satellite. In hall 10.2 on stand B20 the company will reveal its extensive portfolio of solutions for fast, future-proof broadband access via copper wire and optical fibre. One of the focuses of the showcase will be the multi-service access platform MileGate, designed for highly flexible, reliable and future-proof FTTC/FTTB/FTTH expansion with one single platform. MileGate supports all broadband technologies, starting with SHDSL to VDSL2 with vectoring to optical active and passive optical fibre connections. KEYMILE has extensive experience with vectoring and has for some time been equipping network operators worldwide with VDLS2 vectoring technology. In the summer of 2014, the number of vectoring ports the company supplies had already topped the two-million mark.

The MileGate Fibre Series is just one of the products that KEYMILE will be showing at the Cologne trade fair. Due to its high level of port density, the series is ideal for setting up extensive FTTH/B infrastructures and supports both active and passive optical Ethernet from just one single platform. Up to 480 subscribers can be connected in an active P2P network using optical fibre. In a passive network (GPON), network operators can cost-efficiently connect several hundred households from one single 8-HU subrack with 160 GPON ports. With a redundantly designed central board, the MileGate Fibre Series provides top levels of availability in hot standby mode.

For the first time at the trade show KEYMILE will also be showcasing its new XMC20 product family with which single network elements can offer both Ethernet as well as native TDM functions. Due to its powerful functions, the product family is ideal for mission-critical, real-time control applications and mobile dedicated networks. The XMC20 can be operated as an SDH/PDH multiplexer, as an MPLS-TP node or a combination. This has no impact on the functionality of the other transmission type concerned.

Sophisticated quality-of-service (QoS) functions, a robust design, as well as very high scalability and availability ensure secure, reliable and efficient data transmission.

All KEYMILE solutions are German-made and stand apart for top quality, impressive design and innovativeness thanks to the company¹s own research and development activities. They also comply with international standards regarding energy efficiency and have an excellent eco-footprint.
