KN Circet acquires ARCC Communications Ltd and expands into wireless services

Dublin, 7 July 2020 – KN Circet, a leader in the telecommunications network services market in the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom, and part of the Circet Group, announced today the closing of its acquisition of ARCC Communications Ltd (ARCC).

ARCC is a fast-growing company specialized in wireless telecommunications networks providing design, rigging, construction, installation and commissioning and maintenance services. ARCC is active on all types of networks (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) and activities (upgrades, new builds, swaps, decommissioning, etc.)

This acquisition by KN Circet is fully aligned with the Circet Group’s strategy to pursue growth and expand its services portfolio in the Group’s core regions, both organically and through acquisitions.

Headquartered in Birmingham, ARCC has close to 100 employees and is a regular contractor for leading providers in the wireless telecommunications industry.  The business is managed by the three Conway brothers Robin, Andrew and Christopher. The current management team will remain in place and will join the broader Circet Group management team.

This acquisition underpins KN Circet’s expansion into wireless activities in the UK, providing the foundation for delivering competitive end-to-end solutions and services across all network technologies, and is aligned with the DNA of the Circet Group.

Donagh Kelly, CEO of KN Circet declared: “We are delighted to welcome ARCC to KN Circet and to leverage the team’s expertise to expand the delivery of high-quality services to mobile network operators in the region. There is a great fit between our respective teams, and we look forward to working together and sharing best practices in order to meet the needs of our customers and to seize additional market opportunities.”

Robin Conway, Managing Director of ARCC added: “We are excited to join the Circet Group at this pivotal point in the evolution of mobile networks. We are confident that we will benefit from KN Circet’s experience to strengthen our presence in the market.  Through the strength of the Circet Group, we look forward to capitalising on the many opportunities in the mobile market, in particular the current deployment and renewal of mobile networks across the region and preparation for the arrival of 5G. We look forward to this next exciting chapter of the ARCC journey.
