Kudelski Security and upc cablecom strengthen their collaboration in Switzerland

KUDELSKI SECURITY AND UPC CABLECOM STRENGTHEN

THEIR COLLABORATION IN SWITZERLAND

Cheseaux, Switzerland, December 22nd, 2014 – Kudelski Security, the cyber security division of the Kudelski Group (SIX: KUD.S) and upc cablecom, a subsidiary of the British group Liberty Global, announced today the establishment of a partnership to benefit directly upc cablecom business customers in Switzerland. As of now, they will profit from Kudelski Security’s expertise in cyber security and crisis management.

upc cablecom and the Kudelski Group have collaborated in encrypting and securing pay-TV offer for several years now. Through this new agreement, upc cablecom business clients, who are active in the financial, public, industry and health sectors, will gain access to two of Kudelski Security’s flagship services:

 

  • An all-around 360° assessment of their information security systems based on an analysis of their risk profile. The 360° assessment aims to establish an action plan on improving the security posture of an enterprise.
  • Immediate assistance in security incident management and response. In the event of a major crisis, the Kudelski Security Cyber Alert Response Squad (K-CARS) ensures a 24/7 support to impacted companies. K-CARS is a multi-disciplinary squad, which brings a range of skills in cyber security management, forensics, digital investigation, crisis communication and legal domains.
