With continuing economic hardships on the horizon, busi- nesses may be seeking to streamline operations, scale back their workforces and focus on profitability. Regardless of economic troubles, businesses still need to process increasing amounts of data — and transferring that data can be costly and time-consuming. The industry needs to offer streamlined operations and intelligence in its networks at the level where the data is collected, locally, at the edge of the network. For technology companies, investing in the edge ecosystem will offer a great return on investment, along with improved customer experiences.
