With continuing economic hardships on the horizon, busi- nesses may be seeking to streamline operations, scale back their workforces and focus on profitability. Regardless of economic troubles, businesses still need to process increasing amounts of data — and transferring that data can be costly and time-consuming. The industry needs to offer streamlined operations and intelligence in its networks at the level where the data is collected, locally, at the edge of the network.
