London Borough of Brent Chooses Avaya For Mobility and Innovation in Citizen Communications

Guildford, UK – 4th April 2013 – Avaya, the global provider of business collaboration and communications solutions, today announced that London Borough of Brent (LBB) has selected Avaya as the supplier that will enable it to fulfil its vision of communications mobility for both workers and the local residents.

For the LBB, it was increasingly clear that to serve the population properly, council workers needed to get out of the central office and into the community to determine what people needed most.

To fulfil its vision of true mobility, LBB needed an innovative approach to communications, so the council chose Avaya one-X Communicator with video, Avaya EC500, Avaya Flare Communicator and Avaya Aura Conferencing, ensuring that every employee has anytime, anywhere access.

Now, LBB employees will have iPhones and iPads as standard council devices, allowing them to connect to the main system seamlessly via their devices, which means that employees can focus on the needs of the community where they live.
