Major Mexican Wireless Operator Selects Intec for Wholesale Business Management

Intec InterconnecT now supports wholesale operations for three of Mexico’s largest carriers

Atlanta/London, October 19, 2010 – Intec, one of the world’s leading providers of Business Support System (BSS) solutions, today announced a contract with a leading wireless operator in Mexico for its market-leading InterconnecT to manage the operator’s domestic wholesale billing and settlements. Intec now supports the wholesale operations of three of the four leading wireless providers in Mexico. The replacement of the existing legacy system was driven by the carrier’s infrastructure and systems modernisation strategy.

Intec InterconnecT is a comprehensive interconnect billing and settlements solution that will allow the operator to consolidate and manage all of its partner agreements from a single platform, allowing the provider to better leverage competitive rates, minimise disputes, and reduce potential leakage.
