MDSL reveals TEM Vision strategy at AOTMP 2013 Conference in Orlando

MDSL brings Technology Lifecycle Management and new version of TEM Vision
to AOTMP’s 2013 Conference

January 17th 2013 – London, New York, Paris, Gothenburg, Tokyo and Hong Kong – MDSL, the leading provider of global Telecom Expense Management (TEM) Technology Lifecycle Management and Market Data Management (MDM) solutions today announced that it is sponsoring the AOTMP Annual Conference in Florida, 10-14 February, at the Hyatt Regency, Orlando International Airport.

In the current economic climate, it’s never been more important for the Enterprise to look at ways to bring all of its telecom costs under control. Previously, that would have entailed the implementation of a standard Telecom Expenses Management solution, however, the rapid spread of smartphones, tablets and other hand-helds – and the subsequent growth of the Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) market – has transformed the way the average corporate now has to approach the management of its Fixed Line and Mobile telecom assets.

Ben Mendoza, MDSL CEO and founder, is keynoting at the AOTMP Conference. He commented: “It is worrying, given the difficult economic times, that more companies are not benefitting from the savings and efficiencies that can be achieved through the planned, strategic introduction of a TEM solution. The downsides of not implementing one are becoming increasingly clear, as their telecom costs become ever more complex and difficult to manage.

He continued: “In our experience, the difficulty is that many businesses have considered a TEM solution and may in fact have deployed one. However, they fall at one of the first two hurdles: either they have no clear strategy for re-establishing control over this critical part of the business, or they have no clear objectives for the solution they ultimately deploy”.

Mendoza will be outlining how to craft a TEM strategy that allows organizations to plan their route from initial concept idea to full implementation, as well as advising on how to minimize the risks of over-spending or ending up with a system which cannot manage as the business grows. He will also be examining some of the pitfalls, as part of his ‘Best Practice Checklist’ on how to get the TEM journey right first time.

MDSL will also be demonstrating the latest version of its TEM Vision solution at the show. TEM Vision is the highly successful entry level product in the MDSL Smart TEM suite of Telecom Lifecycle Management (TLM) solutions, which has proved popular since its launch last year with telecom managers on both sides of the Atlantic. The latest version offers a range of new features, including significantly enhanced data manipulation and visual reporting  capabilities, all designed to make it quicker and easier for managers everywhere to answer the four basic cost management questions: how much did I spend, where did I spend it, what did I spend it on and who spent it?

Delegates wishing to register for the AOTMP 2013 Conference can do so via the MDSL website at www.mdsl.com/events.
