Microsoft Announces UK Availability for Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL

Microsoft today announced the UK availability of the Lumia 640 and the Lumia 640 XL. The Lumia 640, already widely available from retailers across the UK, will be joined by the Lumia 640 XL by the end of April.  The latest devices to join the Lumia portfolio offer more personal computing and increased productivity through seamlessly integrated Microsoft Office experiences, OneDrive[1] storage and fast 4G connectivity. The Lumia 640 and 640 XL will upgrade to and benefit from Windows 10 as it becomes available later this year[2].

The Lumia 640 will be available starting from only £99.99 or £15.50 per month on contract in the UK with Dixon Carphone Group, EE, O2, Vodafone, Three, Amazon, Tesco and Virgin in a variety of colours including glossy cyan and orange and matte black. Dixon Carphone Group will stock the Lumia 640 exclusively in glossy white. The Lumia 640 XL will be available from a range of online retailers starting from £219 SIM-free in matte cyan, orange and black, as well as both matte and glossy white.
